The majority of accidents are attributed to staff who are not trained. Employers are responsible for making sure that staff who are utilizing the forklift are trained in safety and risks. Never let anybody on a forklift who isn't correctly trained to operate the forklift. Your business should develop and post in a location which is visible all forklift safety measures.
Instead of going through training because staff are required to, they must have a positive attitude in doing so. You as the employer should help workers know the significance of proper training. Let them realize that they can kill or injure not just themselves, but other people, if they make mistakes. It is up to you to ensure that all your workers go through training seriously.
