The narrow aisle lift truck has been made to function in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the width of the aisle. Yale makes the single reach NR and double reach NDR units that are used for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks use best-in-class ergonomics and provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has different control handle and stance configurations.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To be able to meet a wider range of operations, there are many control handle configurations such as the aft stance, the choice of fore, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: This technology offers powerful deceleration and acceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been made for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of cargo moved in a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the mast durability and rigidity; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, and the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: Yale offers industry leading lowering speeds and these uploaded speeds greatly improve the overall throughput and productivity.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a terrific function that maintains lower oil operating temperature while reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: To greatly reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the steer effort is actually technician adjustable in order to reduce operator fatigue. During the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: The narrow aisle trucks and the very narrow aisle trucks are also known as order pickers. These equipment are designed for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors lift both the operator and the load to its required height. This height could be in excess of 30 feet. Similar with most turret trucks they are usually guided by rail or wire when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
