Used Daewoo Diesel Forklifts Anaheim

A forklift is an essential piece of machine in the material handling industry. Also called a powered industrial truck, a lift truck is used to lift and move supplies from one location to another. These kinds of trucks revolutionized the manufacturing and the warehousing industries. These days they are considered to be vital for material handling and are used for a huge array of applications.

The forklift requires an operator who utilizes the control levers to transport goods and materials around the worksite, most typically a factory or warehouse. Companies that own their own lift trucks have to maintain the machinery to ensure they have a long lifespan. Similar to any machinery parts, lift truck components, are susceptible to wear and tear and will become worn over time. In order to ensure the forklift functions in a safe and efficient manner, you must occasionally replace damaged or worn components. Every forklift truck component is made for a specific purpose. Below is a list of a few lift truck attachments and their tasks:

Forklift Fork Positioner: The hydraulic attachment referred to as forklift fork positioner helps to position the tines. Forks can move both separately or at the same time. Without the forklift fork positioner, the operator of the lift truck should manually adjust forklift forks for various sizes of cargo.

Side Shifter: The hydraulic side shift attachment enables the operator to laterally shift the backrest and the forklift forks. This kind of attachment makes it easier to position the load without having to change the position of the truck.

Pole Attachments: Pole attachments are long metal poles used specifically to lift carpet rolls. The poles work better for this purpose compared to forklift forks.

Telescopic Forklift Forks: Telescoping blades are hydraulic attachments which enable the operator to both unload and load from one side. The telescoping forks could handle two pallets of various sizes at the same time. This particular attachment is great for handling pallets in 'double deep racking'.
